Lana Plantae Yarns
We have been raising alpacas and sheep on our small farm in Maine for 20 years. From the beginning, we have used only natural dyes on our yarns and fibers. The art and science of natural dyes is a passion and we have taken very seriously the study of the process to create vibrant and lasting color. Many of the dye plants we use are also grown on our farm. Our signature yarn is our super soft rambouillet in fingering and worsted weight. We also have alpaca blends and yarns from other wools we source regionally.
