Pine Corners Farm
I started my Colored Angora goat flock 7 yrs ago. I learned their care from one of the best mentors and read everything I could about them and their care and asked lots of questions. After getting my feet under me I started to show at our CAGBA here at Rhinebeck to gage how am I progressing with their care, their confirmation and of course their hair. Mohair is an amazing fiber that has history, luster, duribility and softness. I have a small flock and offer kids for sale and a few adults as I continue to strive for healthy, well proportioned, and beautiful goats with beautiful mohair. Red Staggerwing
Red Staggerwing is still going strong with a bustling online shop and dozens of wholesale accounts across the US. The classic pieces are hand made from start to finish, now with the help of a small, all-women team perfecting their craft in a sun-filled New Hampshire studio. Inspired by her Scandinavian heritage, local flora, and lots of color, Lisa personally designs all of Red Staggerwing’s signature pieces. The limited edition collections feature hand-printed linen, leather, cotton, and waxed canvas — sourcing high-quality, durable materials from independent businesses is a priority for the team, as they strive to create classic pieces that hold up to everyday use.

We are a Holistically and sustainably managed small family farm, raising and breeding up the rare Herdwick Sheep. We are a pasture-based farm selling meats and our Self-raised unique Herdwick fiber as raw fleece, roving, corespun, pin draft & yarns, as well as sheepskins (pelts, hides). Our sheep were once raised by Beatrix Potter! We will be showing our sheep again in the Black and White Sheep show this year - the 3rd time Herdwick bred sheep have ever been shown in the U.S. Ours! Come see the newest results of our program and our ewenique sheep and learn about their wool. Containing 4 separate fibers, and keeping these sheep warm through winters at upwards of 3,000ft. The fiber is excellent for felting, weaving, knitting or crochet. Strong enough for floor applications and cozy enough for the warmest wool outerwear, and even used as household insulation in the U.K.! Naturally colored from black to silver-blue to nearly white. We also offer knitting, crochet, and rug making tools and supplies, Oxford Punch Needles, and a variety of books and other fiber arts tools. We feature James Rebanks, @herdyshepherd1, world-famous Herdwick Shepherd's books "The Shepherd's Life" and "The Shepherd's View"! You used to know us as The Wren's Nest.
