Athena Spinning manufactures hardwood portable spinning wheels, lazy kates and accessories. All of our wheels are made by hand using combinations of maple, black walnut, padauk and purpleheart. three 6 oz or one 8oz & two 4 oz bobbins are included in the purchase price. Avalon Springs Farm is a small fiber farm and indie dye art studio. Karen J Schlossberg is the dye artist, and Karen and her family are the farmers. We have alpaca, llama, and angora goats mainly. We produce yarn, roving, fleece, felt, kits, patterns and some finished goods. Our yarn is both ours and local farm fibers cottage milled; Karen also does dye work on commercial base yarns. Berry Meadow Farm
Berry Meadow Farm, owned by knitwear designer Carole Schumann and her husband Kevin, is located on 110 acres in Orwell Vermont. Our farm is home to our herd of Alpacas and flock of Rambouillet and Romeldale sheep. Our focus is self-raised fiber and of course...knitting and crocheting! We produce our own Berry Meadow Yarn, knitting & crochet kits, and knitting & crochet patterns. Our kits are packaged in sustainable packaging which is unique and reusable.
