Julie O'Sullivan has been working with fabric and fiber since she was a child through sewing and knitting projects. As an adult, Julie has taught several co workers and kids how to knit, spin, sew, and natural dye.

Julie is a 4H parent and has worked with 4H children on various fabric and fiber projects and has done spinning demos at the Dutchess County Fair and the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival as part of the 4H demonstrations.

Julie worked at Poughkeepsie Day School as a high school teacher and taught several fiber and fabric courses that included collaborative project work between high school and lower school children. Julie has spent a lot of time recently working on natural dyeing, bundle dyeing and eco printing and is excited to share what she has learned.
