Mellow Yellow on the Honeybee Kumihimo. Kumihimo means the gathering of cords. Using a Japanese circular loom that can take up to 32 cords, weworking with 8 cords to learn how to weave with and without beads to create a bracelet that includes a woven integrated closure.

Kumihimo weaving in the round as a process is very calming and a great mindfulness tool.
The Mellow Yellow Project is designed not only to create a bracelet and learn techniques for making other cording projects but also experience a technique to quiet the mind.  This is a great class for even a beginner who has never used a Kumihimo.

Kumihimo cords are often used for making jewelry but originally they were used for clothing closures and decorative edging both are great applications for knitting projects.
