Description

Learn the basics of an Adirondack backpack. We will make a medium sized backpack, great for markets, foraging, carrying craft materials or running errands. After you learn the basic form, you can move on to incorporating your own unique styles with different reeds, materials, and colors in your future projects.

This is a TWO-PART Class.  Make sure you sign up for Part 1 and Part 2.

Pre-requisites
Beginner with some weaving experience. Need to follow instructions (4 page step-by-step included), have hands in water for soaking reed. Weaving may be done sitting or standing. Two part class - 2 hour sessions homework in-between.
Homework Required?
There will be homework that needs to be completed before Part 2.
Materials
PDF Instructions, clamps, reed (pre-cut to size), and straps. Material fee of $90 which includes shipping and handling. Student must contact instructor to arrange payment and shipment of kit.
Supplies Students Need
Clippers or scissors, butter knife, water bucket, and hand towel.
