Have you wanted to purchase your own fleece but don’t know where to begin in terms of skirting and prepping it? Have you only purchased top or roving to spin or felt because you don’t know what you don’t know about buying an entire fleece?

This interactive workshop will provide you with the information you need to go forward with any fleece you desire. Skirting (removing vegetable matter and unsuitable fibers), preparation, washing, combing, and carding will all be discussed. Questions encouraged and expected.

Beginners welcome but they should have an idea about what they want to learn or make. This class will not teach people what to do with their fleece.
