Description

Punch Needle Rugmaking Demo, using the Oxford Punch Needle
Using the Oxford Punch Needle, Erin Bradt will introduce you to the ease and fun of 'painting' with yarn to create beautiful chair pads, coasters, rugs and more.  Use up yarn leftover from other projects, even use wool strips like conventional rug hooking, or add decorative fibers too.  Join us!

We are a small family farm, raising award-winning rare Herdwick Sheep. We offer our Self-raised unique Herdwick fiber as raw fleece, roving, pin draft roving & yarns, and 100% wool corespun, as well as sheepskins (pelts, hides). Come see our ewenique sheep and learn about their wool, containing 4 separate fibers, keeping these sheep warm through winters at upwards of 3,000ft. The fiber is excellent for felting, weaving, knitting or crochet and rugmaking. Strong enough for floor applications and cozy enough for the warmest wool outerwear. Naturally colored from black to silver-blue to nearly white. We also offer knitting, crochet, and rug making tools and supplies, Oxford Punch Needles, and a variety of books and other fiber arts tools. We feature James Rebanks, @herdyshepherd1, world-famous Herdwick Shepherd's books "The Shepherd's Life" and "The Shepherd's View"! WATCH OUR BREED TALK video when you get a chance
