Getting crafty for hours is the ultimate but can be a drain on the body. Chair Yoga for Crafters takes simple yoga stretches and makes them accessible to any level. No matter if you are a knitter, spinner, weaver or crocheter these simple stretches keep your mind and body in tip top condition. We have used our yoga expertise to develop a series of simple stretches, breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises to prevent common crafting maladies. All of the practices we will play with use a chair, so you don’t have to move far from where you craft. No matter the craft or level you are at, these yoga practices can help you craft for longer. No prior yoga experience required. In this two-hour workshop we will have a short discussion, try out some of the yoga postures, and have time for questions.
