Come learn a few different ways to add beads in your bind-off. Jean Elizabeth will demonstrate a number of ways to add beads to your bind-off then you will practice them with her there to help you every step of the way. You will love how these techniques make your pieces even more beautiful! So many possibilities in so many different ways. Shawls, hats, scarves, gloves, socks. A few beads at the end can easily add a little sparkle to so many projects!

Pre-requisites
Knit, cast-on, bind-off, pico bind-off
Homework Required?
Pre-string beads on the yarn. For every 20 stitches pre-string 25 beads. Do not use the beads, just keep pushing them down toward the ball as you knit. We will use the beads in the cast-off.
There are 5 samples in all. And 50 yards of yarn. So to be on the safe side use 10 yards per sample. Of course, if you are doing the ribbed ones together and the others together it would be 20 yards for the ribbed ones and 30 yards for the regulars.
Do Not Bind-off. Keep your knitting on the needles!
In addition to these swatches you also need to have in class the extra beads and the fleegle beader.

Students must knit a 1x1 ribbed swatch of 5 rows with 40 stitches in each row or two with twenty stitches in each.
They must also knit not ribbed (stockinette or garter) a swatch of 5 rows with 60 stitches in each row. This can be three separate swatches.
